CME Group Appoints Joseph P. Adamczyk as Director, Enforcement Counsel

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange, today announced that it has appointed Joseph P. Adamczyk as Director, Enforcement Counsel. Adamczyk's primary responsibility will be oversight of the company's Market Regulation department enforcement function. He will report to Richard H. Lamm, Managing Director, Regulatory Counsel.
Adamczyk, 31, joins CME Group from Jenner & Block LLP, where he litigated antitrust and complex commercial cases in the energy and real estate markets. He also worked for Freeman, Freeman & Salzman, P.C., where he was responsible for litigating antitrust, securities, employment and complex commercial cases. He has also served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Marvin R. Halbert, Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District and the 3Com Corporation.
He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from DePaul University and a J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
